The PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT features an integrated transmission developed by DANGEL, one of the brand’s long-standing partners and a renowned specialist in transitions in and out of 4-wheel drive. The ground clearance of the PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT is raised by 80 millimetres, allowing it to get over most obstacles.

4x4 transmission is delivered by viscous coupling, engaged using a selector within easy reach on the dashboard, to the right of the gear-stick. There are three driving modes:

- 2RM mode: front-wheel drive for daily driving;

- 4RM mode: the transmission handles the transfer of power to the rear wheels if traction is lost;

- lock mode: locks the rear axle, designed for extreme off-roading and cross axle situations.

Four high-performance tyres boost four-wheel drive effectiveness. PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT runs on all-terrain tyres from BF Goodrich. They combine solidity, endurance, aesthetics and excellent traction.

The steepest slopes will no longer prove an obstacle. Its BlueHDi 130 engine, with a 6-speed manual gearbox, comfortably delivers torque of 300 Nm. Combined with the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, this drive train gives RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT unprecedented driving precision and pleasure, whatever terrain you venture onto.

The PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT can rely on a bank of LEDs at the top of the windscreen. Curved and 1.35 m wide, it contains 100 LEDs in two rows, giving an impressive total power output of 300W.

EXTEND THE ADVENTURE

Adventure doesn’t stop at sunset, so the PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT is equipped with an "Overland” tent developed with specialist Autohome.

It is very simple to install: all you have to do is unfold it from its housing, found within easy reach on the roof bars. Certified compliant with the “City Crash Test” standard, the roof bars are available as an accessory and will carry all types of load. All that remains is to fasten the slide-out ladder: no more tent pegs to bang in, it’s all ready for you on the roof.

The tent fabric is specific to the PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT. It bears the name Peugeot, and continues the graphic theme of the show-car.

The mattress is covered with the same grey mottled fabric with yellow stitching as the seats. It is compact and folds out easily to sit inside the tent. The final touch comes from the Alcantra-covered pillows, also featuring yellow stitching.

At the end of the trail, the PEUGEOT RIFTER 4x4 CONCEPT becomes a welcoming and restful refuge.

As soon as the sun rises, the PEUGEOT eM02 FS Powertube MTB takes the strain to keep your adventure going!

A power-assisted MTB, it heralds the next generation of eBikes from the Lion brand. Its compact battery housed in the frame gives it a sleek, fluid style.

Suspended front and rear for versatility, it’s the ideal companion on demanding mountain routes. It’s stored at the rear on its own tow bar mounted cycle carrier with a tow ball detachable without tools. Its yellow satin anodised colour, identical to the splashes of colour on the car, contrasts subtly with the matt black tailgate.
