Last year at the Paris Motor Show 2016, we shone a light on our latest SUVs with the new 2008 SUV, all-new 3008 SUV and all-new 5008 SUV taking centre stage, also showcasing the new generation Peugeot i-cockpit. Our new Peugeot 3008 DKR race car also made an appearance ahead of its 2017 Dakar campaign.

The History of Peugeot at the Paris Motor Show

With a history dating back to 1898, the Paris Motor Show has the distinction of being the first motor show in the world. Over the years, Mondial de l’Automobile has played host to some of the most innovative new concepts in motoring, allowing car manufacturers to unveil their latest designs and technology against the backdrop of a city renowned globally for undeniable chic.

Generations of Peugeot classics have had their first public showing at the Paris Motor Show. The 308 CC and restyled 407 took centre stage in 2008, while the exceptional 508 and 3008 HYbrid4 – the world’s first full diesel hybrid – were unveiled in 2010.

French roots give the Paris Motor Show a special meaning for Peugeot, and we jumped at the chance to showcase our exciting new concept cars and production models in 2012. We introduced the next generation of Peugeot cars: a regeneration of the innovative, exciting models which wowed previous Parisian crowds, making the 2012 Paris Motor Show one of our biggest yet.
